Symptoms
A user cannot open Content Studio adminstrative application. The page indicates that access has been restricted by an ACL.
However an Administrator can open Content Studio without problem.
Cause
This is most likely a permission problem in the file system of the Content Studio administrative site. Any user that are allowed to use Content Studio must have at least READ/EXECUTE permission to these files.
Resolution
Ensure that all users has the right to READ/EXECUTE on the root folder of the Content Studio administrative site files. Typically you add an entry for the Everyone group and grant READ/EXECUTE to this group. It is wise always to add this entry to ensure that Content Studio continues to work as expected even if an administrator edits permissions above this folder.
Status
Currently the Content Studio installation program does not set permissions on the root folder of the Content Studio administrative site files. However this is subject to change in future versions of the Content Studio installation program.
